The ISMG web server hosted at the University of Strathclyde automatically collects standard information such as users IP address, browser type, operating system, access times etc. Any information collected indirectly will be used by ISMG and the University of Strathclyde only: - to monitor volume, type and pattern of traffic using the website; to develop the design and layout of the website; and for other administrative and planninmg purposes.
ISMG collects personal information, such as a user's name and e-mail address, which is provided voluntarily by a user when requesting any of the services provided by ISMG. ISMG retains such information on a University of Strathclyde hosted database.
